Singapore : Providing GMAT guidance [#permalink] New post 23 Jan 2012, 21:55
Hi All,

As you begin your journey towards one of the most important exams of your career, it is important that you device your study plan wisely, to make the most out of it. Being gone through the same journey last year, I'd like to help you channelize yout time and effort to get the best result.

Some brief background about myself :
I come from an engineering background, and am working with a bank in Singapore. I started my GMAT prep by taking a GMATPrep test, and scored a 690. Over 4 months, I improved my performance and finally ended with a GMAT 770 (99%ile), Quant 50 (92%ile), Verbal 45 (99%ile). I've prepared for various entrance examinations of a similar nature for more than 6 years, and have deviced many strategies to build up my competence in Quant and Verbal sections, various timing strategies, daily practice strategies, work schedules and so on.

What help can I offer? :
I understand that most of you would be working, and that it's difficult to take time out for GMAT. I've been through the same problem, working upto 70 hours a week, sometimes 90. In such situations, it's important to work in the right direction, so that you get the most out of your time and efforts.
I am not a tutor, and will only provide a consultative guidance for your preparation. I'll conduct a one-on-one meeting every weekend for 1 hour, to look at how your preparation is going, and then suggest plan for next week. This will be conducted over a 16 week period (or as long as you plan to perform your preparation). I'll also be available over email during the week, and if urgent, over the phone. Additionally, I'll be providing you with some study material I've gathered from different places.

Of course, I'll be charging a nominal fee, mainly because I want to spend time on genuine candidates.

Please PM me if you need more information, or want to take up my consultation.

Thanks,
CrackGMAT770.
