Waitlisted without an interview - I live a stones throw away from Sloan. I wonder how many waitlisted candidates do post waitlist class visits?  Best of luck to everyone!

Dinged without interview. Received the "Decision Available Online" email from Sloan about 10 minutes ago, logged onto my ApplyYourself account and viewed the rejection letter.
For the record: Applied round 1, submitted application 2 days before the deadline, noticed a few hits from MA on my supplemental Youtube video and LinkedIn profile a couple weeks later, no interview invite, received decision today 12/26/12 @ 3:17PM PST. 27 year old white American Male located in Los Angeles, CA.

I wasn't paying attention to the stats.

My condolences out to those who got dinged. For the waitlisters, any idea what % manage to get in? I think at wharton/booth, it's around 20-25% but haven't seen similar stats for Sloan.
Also, you guys think it's a huge problem if essay 1 is 520 words? I already submitted and am hoping it won't be too much of an issue.
