Waitlisted here as well. This was a bit anticlimactic considering it was the last decision of mine to come out by a number of weeks. But definitely, congratulations to all of you who got in!
100-200 people on the waitlist for a total of fewer than 400 spots in the class actually seems like a long line, doesn't it? Or is my perspective completely skewed?

I respect MIT for its straight-forward approach to the admissions process and really have no gripes with them. The interview was friendly as were their students and adcom. To anyone who got in, you're going to a hell of a school.
For me, I think this is the final straw and that this points me in the direction of Cornell. By the time MIT gets back to me I will already have thrown multiple thousands towards a deposit, and it would be tough to turn back.
What a crappy process admissions are in general, glad its over with.
