Hi Scott/Omari,

I am trying to find info on Sloan's various MBA tracks, however, after extensive search on their web and brochures, I am unable to find any info on their track programs. Do you know of any resource where I can find that info ?

Good question. Sloan actually did away with their old "career track" system, right after we published our book that covered the track system (figures!).

I pulled this info from Sloan's web site:

Thanks to a curriculum revamp for fall 2003 classes, students can craft a "portfolio" of courses in lieu of the "career tracks" available to previous Sloan MBAs. The portfolio system is designed to more seamlessly integrate required and elective coursework with extracurricular activities. Sloanies can declare a portfolio that's general in scope (a risk-management portfolio for possible careers in insurance or trading) or quite specific (marketing for financial-services companies to prepare for a sales job at an investment bank). The coursework is more flexible than traditional majors or the previous career tracks, so students can, with permission, mold their classroom experience to fit their objectives.
