submitted my letter on Friday. not too hopeful given all the stories how last year's class was oversubscribed, but I really hope there's some movement. Sloan is bar far my top choice.

MIT got over 4,600 apps this year. Not too optimistic here, but hopefully all of us waitlisted will get good news in the new couple of months.

Anyone from the waitlist get an interview invite? I was waitlisted R1 and just got invited to a R2 interview...

Are all the WL from Round 1 post-interview? I'm WL Round 2 w/o interview.

I visited the Admissions Office today and got to meet with an AdCom officer. She told me that anyone waitlisted w/o interview from Round 1 and who does not get an interview invitation in Round 2 will be taken off the waitlist on April 2 and not offered a place.

Not the news you all we're expecting but at least there's definite closure. Good luck with invites over the next few weeks!
