At the risk of over-simplifying, an African-American applicant with a 730 can pretty much write his own ticket. There are far fewer applicants from the African American pool than b-schools need to properly diversify their programs, so you should be sought after in the application process. Of course the key will be in packaging your story well (non-prestigious firm is not a problem if you sell the passion for what you want to do and how you have prepared yourself to do it). If I were your consultant, I would advise you to put into the mix at least a couple of top 10 schools. I would also recommend applying to a couple of schools in the third round since third round is often looking for some niche applicants to fill spots they need and you could potentially bump out some folks. Let us know if we can help. We actually have a third round guarantee going right now.
