It is too extreme.

anand,

I'll look at it in a few minutes. It'd be nice if you could do a 24 hour question-to-answer cycle, but that's just my opinion. I'd like to hear what the others think.

Yup, give us more time. By the time I posted some answers, I'm doing some of this while at work, you already posted the answer. Give the answers after 24hours, it would be better IMO

Agree that C seems correct.

But I'm not sure why E isn't correct, too...

sorry folks. I assumed everyone wants to see the official answer once they post theirs. I will definitely give 24 hours.

The correct answer is E. I chose C.

Anyone to refute E ?

DJ might have some venn diagrams to shed some light.

Can't refute E, but I'd like to see someone refute C.

Do you have explanations, or just questions?

I still think that the answer is C. this is an 'except' question, remember?

from the venn dia, we can say that E is possible, but C isn't

I had the same venn diagram as DJ. I love it when some like you folks comfirm it. I think C is the answer. E cannot be. Then again the show is on till stoolfi pulls the curtains down.

I have another suggestion. Every time I do some tests I post questions in individual threads. It might be better idea to post them in a single thread. This will make you folks see all questions in one go instead of looking at each thread. For me it opens up so many windows on my browser. I am not sure if it will conserve any disk space on the website. Let me know your thoughts if you are opposed to this. Posting separately might be more advantageous to newcomers to followup.

I think, it will be better if you keep the ques in individual threads. I have had difficulty concentrating on the ques when there is a bunch following it. Furthermore, with individual thread there is less chance of digressing...right? ...that's the pattern gmat follow, guy

....hale gmat..!
