Sorry for post it again, but I really want to clear this question.

if n is a positive integer and N^2 is divisible by 72 then the largest positive integer that must divide n is:

a) 6
b) 12
c) 24
d) 36
e) 48

ALI1 gave a very good reasoning for this question

12 is the only number which will divide all the values of N, where N^2 is divisible by 72

rest of choices like 24,36,48 can divide only itself .... not the other numbers...where N^2 is divisible by 72
