What is OA on this one?

I think E is awkwardly structured and i am skeptical about the tense too. I will go with C.

Me going with E too.

But just as a question, Preventing its.....doesn't this modify water??? Just a thought....

I would have gone with C on exam day..though B sounds pretty close.. I am not able to pin point why C sounds better to me..but B somehow seems to convey the meaning the that the dissipation instead of being prevented by the boundaries is being aided by them.

E is clean.
