Every time I see an email from admissions@schooliappliedto.edu, my stomach turns, and my hands get cold and numb. Then I realize they're advertising some useless conference or touting a new class.

Anyone else hate these?

Those killed me at first, but after a while I've become numb to them, and whenever I see an email from my assumption is that its one of those. My favorite one was when CBS sent me an email about an information session and encouraged to apply the day after they dinged me.

I got one of those from Booth and I have to say, it's quite demeaning. I think schools should definitely keep track of their emails, but hey, who am I to say what schools should do?

Deluge has slackened considerably. Maybe they are reading this!

i really hated the qs mba tour email list this year... somehow when i registered my email got automatically opted into the "hey send every mba program to me" list. I ended up getting about 100 different emails from different programs. uhh!

We shouldn't ignore this alarming trend ... I say we spam them back ! ..Who's with me ?

On that note.. I got an email from certain university offering a scholarship ..only they got my name and nationality wrong. They replied an hour later apologising for the mistake... :D and sent another email offering the scholarship (with the details right this time)...
