I'll be surprised if this code doesn't let the service-provider fix the width of the "Author" section. I think that's a better way of achieving consistency.

Agreed. Other boards I have been on have had a specific avatar size.

I think there should be a max width and set it so that everyones is crapped at that width, have that width be the same as what people without avatars have.

The columns look all the same now in my browser.. Try clicking 'refresh' to update your stylesheets (they may be cached) and see if that fixes it.

Works fine for me now. Tino, I found one more small glitch. When I modified my previous comment in this thread, the comment got modified without adding a footer like, "mNeo edited the comment at blah blah time". This footer used to get added unless the editor's comment was the last in the thread. I think that feature of adding footers was useful for obvious reasons. What do you think?

Yes, a cool feature it was. I think I'm a bit too tired to think - 2am here. I hope I'll be of more help tomorrow.

Just click 'Refresh' in your browser. Sometimes it appears as a self-pointing circle arrow button.

Oh! For some reason i thought it was something more complicated than the F5 key... IN any case, that didn't work for me... Avatars still show up in different widths...

You may want to try a hard-refresh (Control + F5).

Well, maybe the fix I used doesn't work in your browser. I only tested in Firefox so far. Tomorrow I'll ask dzyubam to try it on Windows/IE.

I'm using explorer. That's the only browser we are allowed to use at work :-)

IE sucks... Especially IE6. I wish my company would at least switch to IE7 if they're going to force us to use it.
