As far as the sample goes, I think those of us who are still waiting are more inclined to actively check the forums and keep our information up to date. I'd guess that many more folks have gotten interview invites than have reported receiving them.

So far, have been rejected from HBS and WLed at Kellogg, and feel like I have zero confidence about positive outcomes at GSB and Booth I thought Kellogg was in the bag, so getting WLed really shook me. The next week is going to be awful! Aw man, remember how we talked about being in the exact same boat, schools-wise? Well, we're STILL in the exact same boat! I was also WLed at Kellogg, and am also now feeling a lot worse about Stanford and Booth as a result. Not that I ever felt really good about Stanford, but still--ugh! I've just been trying not to think about Stanford, since it seems like such a long shot... My interview went reasonably well, but I feel like my essays weren't the best, and I just overall don't have a good feeling about my chances. So I'm stressed, but... not really expecting a positive outcome enough to be really stressed. Funnily, I know several people who were rejected by Kellogg and admitted to Stanford. I wouldn't let the Kellogg ding get you down. For one thing, every school is looking for different things. For another thing, my impression is that Kellogg is aggressive about yield management, and if you are clearly Harvard/Stanford material, they may reject or waitlist you to maintain their yield.

Based on previous years, the bulk of the calls will be made on the 26th pacific time. Derrick Bolton pulls an all-nighter and starts calling East Asia time zones in the wee hours of the 26th pacific time. These will continue and move west until about 8p pacific time. There's a chance that some East Asia applicants will hear in their morning of the 27th their time as he wraps around. He typically doesn't call after 8p in the local time zone. The notification email (or update in AY) will likely be sometime in the morning of the 27th pacific time. It is usually available well before the 5p pacific time listed.
All admits will receive a call (or voicemail) before the notification emails are sent.

For the sake of sharing back with the community, I got the call exactly 12 hours ago, (Middle East applicant). Sorry for not sharing earlier but I had an annoying day at work and it is still going on actually... To be specific, I got 2 calls from DB: one from the standard +1-650 and the other one from some weird number +343 (the connection was bad on the first call) There are a couple of events coming up: one in Istanbul, one in Saudi Arabia, one in London (april 7th) and the admit weekend (28-29th) For all those who got in, I cannot wait to spend the upcoming 2 years with you! For those who are still waiting, hang in there, it ain't over till it says so black on white And for those who did not make it, I do hope you will find another great program.
Take care everyone! PS: anyone who is interested in chatting/sharing stories in anticipation, please do pm me.

I'm in the Northeast and got the call around 4PM. And no i just started freaking out because I didn't even realize he was calling today! I thought it was a telemarketer lol so I might have even sounded a little rude at first.

My dream school - will put everything into this app! btw, did you guys read this on the website? Decision Notification**
We will post decisions to your ApplyYourself account by 5:00 PM Pacific Time on the decision date for the round in which you applied. Under no circumstances can we provide decisions earlier. Provide an email address on your application form to which you will have access through the decision date. You may report a second email address, too. We do not release admission decisions via telephone or in person. Is this always the case? I read people saying that Bolton calls them etc.? Are they changing that this year or do they always write this but call anyways?

They wrote this last year and Derrick Bolton still calls admits the day before. I think they write this to prevent people from hounding them for an answer a week before the decision date. Best of luck!

Definitely applying - good luck guys! Make sure to go to campus, that will definitely make it your #1 choice. I haven`t seen the Knight Management Center since it opened, but it looks incredible.

Almost missed this thread, I was in the applicant pool last year but had to take an early exit because of my GMAT score. This year I am definitely in and putting my best application in. All the best everyone.
