I spoke to several members of the adcom at different instances and they all told me that they will issue invites up until a couple of days before Mar 27th. So I guess that is Mar 25th !! .. I dont know where the two weeks thing is coming from ...

I checked my status and it says " Your application is currently under review." just wondering if this is a generic message that gets triggered after we submit our applications or does it mean that people are actually reading the application during that time frame...

I have been stalking this forum compulsively for the last month, so I felt obliged to pitch in.

Just got my interview invite today, an hour ago! Good luck to all else waiting, keep the hopes up, I was already convinced I was a goner by this point.

I'm in NY, I-banking background, took the GRE (I guess schools really don't care? We shall see), 3.66 GPA from a non-Ivy.

Best of luck to everyone, plenty of time left!

I got my interview invite today.
Mix between an international and domestic applicant. Emigrated to the US from Germany 1 year ago.

Good luck to everybody else who is still waiting! They are still reading applications, so don't give up :)

Hey folks,
question to ask (first post! - though I've been following this thread). I have a GSB interview, but mine is with a staffer, rather than an alumnus - and I can't seem to find a lot of information on what it may entail. The only thing I've seen is Derrick Bolton's note that staffer interviews are targeted. Any thoughts, feedback would be great - I wonder if me being local has something to do with it.

Consulting + VC for the past few years; 3.9 GPA, 710 GMAT. I have a family member (not dad / mom / sibling) who previously went to the GSB, so I wonder if that has anything to do with it, but I doubt it.

Thanks. I think they are putting more of an emphasis on high Gpas.

Rather than asking for background info, can those who got interviews hypothesize a bit on what you think made your application stand out? What did you write about in your essays or did you think your recommenders told a certain story that stood out?

I understand since Stanford's essays are very personal if you prefer not to share, but if you're comfortable sharing I'm curious. I think that's more helpful then knowing the industry/GMAT/GPA distribution of those who got interview invites/offers of admissions.

I interviewed quite early int eh process. My stanford essays were not too great and I had trouble writing them. I ended up sort of rushing the first one, but I got them in on time. I had a very very high GPA (3.9+) and a very high GMAT (750+), in addition to a workplace alumni who wrote my recommendation.

Well... I had a pretty "meh" GPA (3.6 UG / 3.5 G) and am interviewing this week. Probably hard to nail down exactly what gets you in the door...

Well, my industry is certainly not underrepresented in the Stanford community! I'm a designer/developer at a tech startup, with a masters in an unrelated engineering field. Not sure how many designer/developers there are applying to business school, though!

Seems like you're highly welcomed by the different schools! :) Good luck to your interviews!

Has anyone actually received rejection letters too or are they sending all of those out at the very end?
