So, I applied last year R2 and was waitlisted. I pulled up my old application to check on a few dates and realized at the top it says "Application for Fall 2014." Did I actually apply for the wrong year and get waitlisted for Fall 2013? Do they even let you apply an entire year early? I know it doesn't matter now but I'm just so confused... As a re-applicant I'm making sure to dot all I's and cross all T's...
@BuilderSF, they don't let you apply a year early, so that sounds like a software oddity in how last year's data was preserved in the transition into this year's online app.

Thanks essaysnark! Good to know that I didn't make that big of a snafu :)

Can somebody please guide me how to upload the transcripts?

Do we have to paste all transcripts in a word and convert it to pdf OR upload all transcripts one by one?

Thanks

Submitted... just waiting for one more recommender to submit a LOR. Anyone else waiting on a recommender also? Any advice on how to hurry them up?

Sure Rashee - I only had one transcript to upload, so I uploaded them in one document. But if I had more than one, I would upload them separately.

Quick question - In the GSB app, for current activities, it asks to report start and end date (MM/YYYY). Should I just report 10/2013 as end date if I'm still involved?

Thanks!

I think earlier in the thread, it was mentioned that you should just leave it blank.

If I'm still involved I put todays date. I'm sure they'll understand either way...

Call them and explain to them that if they don't get it in by xxx, they're negatively affecting your application. Some people don't understand how the process works, and think it'll juts be a poor reflection on them, as opposed to a poor reflection on the candidate.

Also, phone >> email.

Question about transcripts:

Do we have to paste all transcripts in a word and convert it to pdf OR upload all transcripts one by one?

Thanks

If they are for separate institutions, upload them one by one. If they are for the same institution but exceed the file limit, you can also upload one by one. I assume that the admissions committee will get everything you upload printed out, so as long as they are readable, the way you upload should not matter.

Does anyone know if interview offers come out in a trickle or one big wave? Also, when they would start to trickle out? Will they wait until long after the round 1 deadline to start interviews?

I'm in law school and I'm really hoping the interview (if i get one) doesn't come around finals time....

From their website:

Interview Schedule
Typically, we begin inviting candidates to interview a week or two after the application deadline, and continue issuing invitations until a week or two before the decision notification date for that round.

Round 1: mid-Oct to mid-Dec
Round 2: late Jan to mid-Mar
Round 3: mid-Apr to early May
