Hi gals & guys,
I noticed there was not sticky on Stanford yet, so I'm starting it a post right here right now, as it seems to bring good luck (copyright rhyme). Please anyone help me make this a sticky? (edit by rhyme: Hello! sticky!)
So anyways, here's the list I could gather so far:
Updated with R1 results!

venky_nag: Indian, 9 years work ex, 6 years in a startup, 770 GMAT, GPA 3.5, Undergrad from IIT, 4.0 Grad GPA, good recos. Says he's probably 5 years too old, but will give it a shot anyway.

Anyone else? Any interviewed? I've seen several interviewed at Admissions411 but no admitted yet so I'm still hopeful.
Cheers. L.

R1ers are we doomed? [#permalink]

I went to Admissions411 to check data from last year, and could not find a single admitted candidate who had been interviewed beyond December!

Come on, that's gotta be goofy. They admit plenty of R2 folks, who obviously interview after December.
Relax. What's done is done; trust in the cosmos!

Thanks aaudetat for your support. Just to clarify: I was talking about last year's R1ers. Of course R2ers were interviewed after January.
Anyways, I've gone to Ad411 again, and there's one applicant interviewed on Jan 3rd on this year's R1.
Anyone here been interviewed?
Cheers and g'luck. L.

Hi guys,
Submitted my application today. Thankfully there were no hitches with the uploading of docs, though there were quite a few earlier during trial runs. Now I can finally relax! And wait..
Hope you guys have submitted yours..

I just got bored with the editing process, so I submitted it.. I managed to cut down all essays to the required length, except Essay A which ended up at 5 and half pages. The Goals essay was the toughest for me, but somehow got it done.. I feel much relief now..

7 days to D-day. Our R1 hopes rest with saturnring now. For the rest of us it's either dinged or W/L at the most.
R2ers: make us proud!

Hey, gang. Posted this elsewhere, but thought I'd post it here too -
I decided not to apply to Stanford. My stuff wasn't pulled together enough, and I knew that a mediocre attempt was VERY unlikely to give much ROI.
