Is it necessary to visit campus and schedule an interview for the Stanford Sloan fellows program? Any information on this will be appreciated
I asked the admissions team the same question and they said it isn't necessary to visit campus. Personally, I visited campus before applying because I wanted to get a feel of the student culture and to check out the school's facilities. I thought of grad school as an investment so I wanted to do some "background checks" and ensure it's worth my money and time.
I think the interviews are necessary for accepted applicants so shortlisted candidates are usually interviewed. Hope this helps.
