started my journey to gmat with full classes every weekday [#permalink] New post 24 Jan 2013, 07:47
Hi gmatclub friends:

I d like to share my experience: I just started my gmat preparation last week with a verb and math teacher from monday to thursday, on saturdays I m taking toefl lessons (I feel confident about my english but I need some tips to beat toefl with the points I need), and I work as a sap consultant which requires me to be so plug to my job since 8am to 6pm from monday to friday.

It d be nice if someone is having the same work and study load, about gmat...I guess verb is harder than math...

Do you think I need a gmat teacher all the time with me? I mean I practice and study by myseal also, but a teacher nos is helping me with some tips in order to solve a question as fast as I can...but lessons are not cheap.

regards

As a GMAT tutor, I will say that there are certain times when you can get the most value:

1) Making a study plan
2) GMAT specific questions - people often get tutors too early and don't have the basic Math skills
3) GMAT exam strategies

I would advise against spending a lot of time with a GMAT tutor if you are still in the early stages. Get online Math lessons or a cheaper math tutor.
