Started preparing for GMAT -- Quants [#permalink] New post 15 Feb 2010, 16:55
Hi Friends,

Before starting the preparation, i took 2 sample tests for quants and i scored 37 and 41.

The books i have are GMAT OG 11th Edition and Princeton review's GMAT overview.

I want to definitely improve my score and i started following the 3 month plan.

Please suggest me good books that covers all the topics for quants, that can take my score over 50.

Please help me ASAP.

Look here: best-gmat-math-prep-books-reviews-recommendations-77291.html

Basically, the MGMAT Guides are the best way to go.

Thanks bb,

I am not exactly sure of the books you are mentioning, if you have any links to purchase the book online can you please pass it on to me? Just to ensure i don't waste money for the wrong books
Thanks for helping me, i was not able to decide where to start with and wasted more than 2 weeks of my preparation time..

The Manhattan Review books are also a good choice for math preparation. The Manhattan Review Math Study and Solutions Guide provides a well-structured and clear and concise approach to targeting all tested concepts in the GMAT Quantitative section. This book presents a great balance between in-depth study instructions and challenging GMAT problems. Its 200-page content covers the extensive topic-by-topic analysis of Arithmetic, Algebra, Geometry, Statistics, Combinatorics, and Word Problems.

Here's a more comprehensive overview of the books:
