Hey guys, my name is
yolomaster.
I'm planning on beating the GMAT in 45 days. I'm at a point in my life right now where I can focus the majority of my day towards studying for the GMAT. My goal is to score a high 600 which will empower me to hopefully get into the school of my dreams. While I prepare for this battle military style, I will be isolating myself from the outside world, as well as hitting the gym on a daily basis for an hour. (Sundays off doe)
PLEASE DON'T YOLO THIS MAN, RESCHEDULE!! ARE YOU TROLL?!?!?!?!
Well friend, number one, I am yolomaster.
Number two, based on the assumption that it to get close to a 700, it'll take 7-8 months studying 10-15 hours a week.
★In 7 months studying 10 hours a week, your total hours spent studying would be 280 hours
★In 8 months studying 15 hours a week, your total hours spent studying would be 480 hours.
★On average, people spend about 380 hours over 7-8 months and score close to 700.
I'll be studying 8 hours a day for 45 days, which means I'll be putting in about 360 hours.
Training Log
Day 1: Started off taking a GMATPrep test cold. Scored a
440 (22, 27), I'll be reviewing, and doing another test by the end of today. update: ended up having to run some errands, the journey begins tmr.
Day 2: Reviewed some material from the GMAT quant guide, worked on some problems, found myself to be very strong with algebra, but weaker with integers.
Day 3: Did a practice test, scored
500 (Q27, Q31), seems like I'm improving on verbal by actually taking the reading comprehension sections seriously. Need a bit more work with the math part, studied 3 hours on day 2, 2 hours on day one. Studied 5 hours today, having a hard time getting up and staying along with the schedule. Starting to prepare breakfast the night before, so I'll have more time to get into gear for the next day.
Day 4: One of my weaknesses is doing questions too quickly, for my first test, I finished the verbal section with 20 minutes to spare, the quant section with 30 minutes to spare. I'm spending more time today understanding quant math. Inequalities is my weakest point, went over GMAT official quant review today. Going over
mgmat foundation of gmat quant inequalities as i type this
Day 5: Spent a decent amount of times messing with inequalities, now my weakest are is properties of numbers. Did a quant only test, and scored a 35 (is this real life?!) I feel that my problems with inequalities/properties of numbers is just a language problem. The wording of questions seems to mess me up :/
