If mean = maximum value it means that all values are equal and SD is 0.

Can you please explain to me how does that happen?
for example if the highest value of the 5 values is 20 and the mean is 20, does that mean that SD is Zero? How is that...

considering your example if mean is the highest value that is 20, implies that all the terms are equal i.e. 20. Mean = avg of all numbers/ total numbers in set and so Mean = Highest value
Lets consider S ={ 1,2,3,4} then Mean for this is 1+2+3+4 /4 (number fof terms in the set) = 2.5
now if Mean is equal to highest number then lets consider set T = {8,9,10} wherein mean is given as 10 which is not possible unless set T is = to {10,10,10}

Now coming to standard deviation, SD is calculated as sqrt ( x1-mean)^2+ (x2 -mean)^2...(xn -Mean)^2 / n

now all the above terms will equal 0 and hence SD will be zero

hope this helps
