This is something I am worried about too. Is it possible to find out how long you have to accept the offers? Are all schools about the same?
Do early acceptance have earlier deadlines?

woah...

this subject has not crossed my mind until now. what are the rules on accepting offers? my current plan was to submit applications for my top choice and a semi-safety in round one, then take my time and make my second choice app really good and submit it in round two.

so is there a chance i will have to accept my semi-safety before i find out whether i got into my second choice?

how binding are these agreements anyway; do you just lose your desposit if you back out? or are there other consequences?

 :?:

Stern has rolling admissions [#permalink]
I just attended a Stern event in San Diego. Even though Stern has 3 deadlines, their admissions are essentially rolling. They review apps as they receive them. Some other schools with "rounds" will wait for every app to come in by certain deadline and then review randomly. The Stern deadlines are more of a guide than anything else. This came as somewhat of a surprise to me because I hadn't found this info on the stern web site.
