For those of you who have been admitted or have had interviews, how we're you notified for interviews? Via email or regular mail? I am out of the country and my friend was checking my mail and mentioned there was a manila size envelope from nyu. I hope this is a good sign? Posted from my mobile device

Posted from my mobile device Interview invites are by email. That manila envelope is likely a generic brochure they send out. It has no bearing on getting an interview invite or not. If you look at the list of Stern applicants on the first page of this forum you will notice that not a lot of R2 applicants seem to have received an answer. However, I believe most people don't update their status if they are denied or if they get into a better school. I hope we get an answer soon! Good luck to you!

Ya, Stern is arguably my #1 choice so I definitely understand the anxiety (and share it to a certain extent). But the mitigating factor is that it seems like they've sent out very few R2 invites (I've only seen 2 invites in this thread from people who applied in January). If this thread starts getting filled up with pages of 'Just got my interview invite!' and my inbox is empty, that's when I'm going to start getting upset.

I was waitlisted in Stern. Just got an email to interview. Congrats to everybody who got admitted. Can anyone share their interview experiences

I am R2 Indian Applicant, I got my application under review email on 01/23. Does Stern send international invites in march or is it time start panicking? Any R2 indian applicants got an invite?

Also, if you send in updates while on the waitlist, how do you know if they have received it?

Does anyone know if interviewees will receive rejections/waitlists around the same time that acceptances come out, or if we will have to wait until later? I'm a bit worried, since I interviewed on 2/13, and later interview dates are now receiving acceptances. Thinking that's not a good sign...

I applied in Round 2 and still haven't heard anything back. I know Stern's deadline for initial notificaiton is April 1st, but any possibility of hearing anything back before that? 2.5 months is a long time.

You can hear back very soon, as others here have, or you can be stuck waiting 2 or 3 months without hearing anything, as I and many others were. You just have to wait it out and hope you get the email. There's nothing else you can do at this point. Posted from my mobile device
