Waitlisted. Great. Anyone have any idea how often people get off the waitlist for Stern?

So I had my interview a couple days ago, and while it wasn't *bad*, it didn't give me the same warm and fuzzy feeling that most other Stern
interviewees seem to have reported, which obviously makes me nervous. It was pretty short (25 minutes), and while the tone was friendly enough, I didn't really get some of the same positive feedback that I had gotten in interviews with other schools (not that I got any negative feedback or anything like that). I think I answered the questions fine, and hit the 4 or 5 notes that I wanted to hit going in, but I was kinda nervous and definitely tripped over my words a couple of times. My main takeaway from the day was that Stern is a perfect fit or me and is definitely my #1 choice, so I'm wondering if anyone else who interviewed there can relate to my experience? It seems that the vast majority of people on this thread who interviewed end up getting admitted, so I'm hoping I'm just being neurotic, and will get good news in the next 2-3 weeks.

Hi did you hear back after the interview ?

Nope. The waiting absolutely sucks. I'll make sure to post in here when I do hear back, though.

Just got the email. Logging into the portal and THEN clicking another link to view the status letter was incredibly stressful, but it turns out I got in, so I just breathed the world's biggest sigh of relief. Basically spent the week completely miserable because I thought I blew the interview. Just to give the timeline:

Submitted: 1/15
Invited: 2/25
Interviewed: 3/5
Admitted: 3/12

Congrats! I interviewed on 3/7 and am now obsessively checking. I was kind of hoping they had batch uploaded the ones from last week, but alas, they did not. I haven't received an email or anything. I'm just being neurotic.

I, too, interviewed last week (3/5), but haven't heard anything. It looks as though acceptances from that interview date are starting to roll in... Should I be concerned? Any thoughts on how acceptances/WL/dings are rolled out post-interview?

Congrats to all those accepted!

Congrats man. So Tuck or NYU? It's a tough decision. Both are solid.

I don't know the exact stats; it's not a majority but it's also not uncommon. I think stats is either waved or tested out of more than any other core course. There is a tradeoff between getting more electives and sharing classes with members of your block/study group, so most people don't approach the situation looking to waive every class they can. I personally waived 2 out of the 4 I was eligible for. I wouldn't have wanted to do any more than that.
