I got in to the Weekend program! I didn't receive an e-mail yet but was randomly checking the status site.

My profile:
- 720 GMAT (38 V, 50 Q, 5.5 AWA)
- 3.2 GPA from top public school's engineering program
- 4 years of sales engineering work experience at a large technology company
- Asian American male

Can't wait to meet you all, and good luck if you're still waiting!

Congratulations imdaShiy !! Great news.

I have created this Google spreadsheet where we can capture all information. I think the graphs and tables at the head of this thread have data for full-time 2012 applicants and those that applied for Langone Spring 2012.

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AkrU2HuPXwkldGZXaThaZkFEN3hRdUlRN2xsUWNmZEE

Can you all update your information ?

Thanks, Lady smith and jewel29 for adding your names to the list.

We have only 11 applicants from gmatclub so far, which is very low compared to previous years. Are there fewer applicants to the Langone program this year, or to NYU or for MBA in general ? I remember someone mentioning that another school too seemed to have fewer applicants.

Are there any applicants for Westchester ?

There might be fewer applicants as the companies have stopped footing the bill...plus many people are concerned if they will get their $100K worth it...esp in the current economy...

Someone separated the "Accepteds" from the others, thanks for that.

Until imdaShiy was accepted, I thought that the early applicants were notified first. That doesnt seem to be the case, since imdaShiy applied on 5/14. Unless so many people apply on the 5/15 that 5/14 is considered early :-D
Has anybody got calls for an interview or knows someone who got a call ?

I got a request for an interview. What does that mean? I am a little bummed i did not get an acceptance

740 6.0 Gmat
3.9 GPA from top 3 liberal arts school
working in digital marketing for the past 7 years in top tier companies for fortune 10 companies.

I am assuming interview means it looks promising but can easily be a no or there is something off with the application?

Well certainly it's not a NO if they are taking the time to interview you. Is there anything in your application/profile that would require any additional clarification? Are you traveling from far away to attend?

I didn't think so except I am a relatively old candidate at 31 years of age and pretty established in my career. I don't know if that would throw them off.

They usually accept without interview requests so there must be something special with your application. My guess would be "why not the Executive program?" Just an idea. Hope this helps.

Based on the excel sheet I would say it is probably safe to say:

1. decisions are announced every Wednesday
2. Does not matter when you applied
3. They are only accepting people with GMAT scores that are in the high 600's
4. GPA doesn't matter
5. Acceptances are going out for both weekend and weeknight

Anyone else have anything to add to that? Is anyone not from the NY area that is still waiting to hear back?

Very interesting observations !

About the GPA being irrelevant, all the ones applied have >3.19, so not sure about that.
Also, no acceptances so far for Westchester, and only 2 applicants have chosen that schedule.
brainchild and mv, is Westchester your first choice or second ?
