I agree. While some people get invitations to interviews by the second week, most people will be reviewed in Feb.

I have just received an e-mail stating that my application is being reviewed right now. Its status is "With Committee".
OK, now I'm stressed.

I submitted 3 hours after R1 deadline, because I was travelling and so I don't know whether I call myself 1st or 2nd round. Anyway I got a waitlist notification today, now I have to decide what extra material to submit. Is it a good idea to call some one at NYU?

I applied a day before the R1 deadline and I just got the waitlist notification.
I'm not too excited by the prospect of submitting more info -- I worked hard on the Stern app.

Well, I just got asked to submit essay one, rather than two copies of essay two. Which I did on return of mail, proving solely that the excitement of finalising the form meant I uploaded the wrong essay once.
I suppose that points to where they are at in the cycle though.
