Isn't the interview only for General management degree applicants ? I have not received any interview requests from SSE.

On the other hand, I was told results would be released starting from today. Eagerly anticipating their decisions if that's true!

Are there actually scholarships for non-EU students? They mention it on their website, but there's no further detail.

After receiving the admission offer, you will be able to apply the scholarships administered by the SSE. This year 4 100% tuition fee scholarships are available and some partial ones. Additionally, you might apply SI - a full scholarship for non-EU students but deadline passed in the February.

Ah, that's good to hear. Do you know what the assessment for the scholarships is based off?

Hey guys, I just had a status change on Universityadmissions.se website to "Conditionally qualified". It's not "conditionally admitted" though - does anyone else get the same status change?

I got precisely the same status update with 99 merit points too. There are quite a few people getting that update (cf. other forums) and taking into consideration that last year they accepted only 12 non-Swedish students I'd say that doesn't mean much..

My bad, I applied for Economics and was thinking about that program where indeed they accepted only 12 non-Swedes. You are naturally right with your info about Finance.

Ahh, yeah, that one is indeed 12. I think it might just be a result of Master's of Economics not being as popular as Master's of [business field goes here] with international students.

99 is a great merit ranking (the highest,imo). It's very likely that you guys will get admitted to the program.

The status change doesn't mean anything apparently - according to the SSE admissions team.
Which kinda makes sense because SSE is the one making the admissions decision NOT universityadmissions.se.
We should know the results by today/tmr (hopefully!).

I would partially disagree. Merit ranking must play a role since it is UniversityAdmissions which knows how to compare different grading systems from different countries. The process of comparing different GPAs, diplomas, and so on, I suppose, is therefore centralized at UniversityAdmissions which provides output (merit ranking) for particular schools to analyze further. My guess would be that both the merit ranking and uni's own evaluation play comparable roles.
