Hello guys,
I would like to share my story about GMAT exam.
First of all, I am not native speaker graduated recently.
I started to prepare for this test in Summer, when I bought economist Gmat tutor course, which I believe was very helpful. Very good systematic approach, however I missed good data analytics, weak points analysis and suggestions on improvements of your weak points.
So after one month of preparation I started to take practice tests every weak:
Gmat prep 610 (Q47 V27)
Economist prep 640 (Q47 V32)
MGMAT 600 (Q48)
Economist prep 2 650 (Q49)
Veritas prep 680 (Q49)
However, I decided not to take the test and go to internship, where i could improve my verbal score, which at that time was ~32.
After 2 months, I came back to gmat and did GMAT prep test again(I was a little bit sick) and got:
GMAT prep 1 570 (Q 44 ; V 25)
Started to learn more, and next results from Mock tests on test conditions were:
Kaplan 640 (Q 49 ; V30 )
GMAT PREP 2 680 ( Q49 ; V33)
Economist PREP 710 (Q 49 ; V 39)
GMAT PREP 3 670 (Q47 ; V34)
Gmat club tests math (Q48)
So decided to take real GMAT test, bought the test and bought the test and additional GMAT question pack that I used to get better feeling of VERBAL part and to improve my score as much as possible.
Everything went ok on test day. I was happy after Quant part, even that i was a little bit short of time and rushed on couple questions, as well as after Verbal. Before I saw my results I expected the best score ever and..
I got 640 (Q39 ; V38)
I cant believe, how is it possible to get such results in Quant on the test day?
My lowest score from this part was 44 and even that score was accident.
Could someone explain how i managed to get 39?:) What could be the possible reasons of such low score?
What should be the next steps if I want to retake? It is a little bit risky, because i got very good score from verbal(expected 35-36)
