Strongest Multidimensional MBA Programs

As always, one should not take these rankings too seriously. However, the compilation below gives a good indication of which schools are very strong in a wide variety of fields.

Appearing on all five metarankings (Finance, GM, Intl. Business, Marketing, and Tech)

Chicago
Duke
Harvard
Michigan
Northwestern
Penn

Appearing on any four metarankings

Columbia
Stanford

Appearing on any three metarankings

Virginia

Appearing on any two metarankings

This is quite helpful information. I don't quite understand why Indiana is included. Not only is it not in the ultra elite or elite cluster like all of the other schools listed, but it isn't even in the trans elite cluster.

Interesting point- Indiana is an a lower cluster than these other schools. However, it does have a strong reputation in certain areas such as marketing. More than anything else, this is a good reminder of the fact that there is far more to pcking a good program than just looking the general prestige of the school.
