Hello Everybody,
I already have a PGDHRM (AICTE Approved) from an Indian B-school with a GPA of 6.10/8. Post my Master's degree I worked for a headhunting firm for 4 months. And, for the past 4 years and 8 months I have been working as an Assistant Professor at a Private University in India. I am also the Head of my Department.
I am looking forward to doing a Specialized Master's Program from any of the top B-schools of the world. The top six that I zeroed down are:
1. Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University, Netehrlands
2. Essec Business School, France
3. Esade Business School, Spain
4. London School of Economics, UK
5. Vleric Business School, Belgium
6. Maastricht University School of Business and Economics, Netherlands
For a Specialized Master's Program, these schools ask for a score of 600-650.
My concern is, will my experience, as an Assistant Professor, be counted when I apply to these schools? In other words, will these B-schools count the 5 years of experience that I have? Or will I be considered a fresher?
I have already attempted GMAT once and scored 570 (44Q, 25V). I am planning to attempt it again in approximately 1.5-2 months.
I am not so keen on doing a two year MBA again, as it will be a parallel qualification for me. If my experience will not be considered for a Specialized Master's Program and I will have to apply as a fresher then I will start looking for a PhD program instead.
Please suggest what are my options.
Views or any feedback on my concern is highly valuable and much appreciated!!
