This forum or b-school life?
Anyway seeing as there are lots of people going to the UE's and E's there will be plenty of people promoting their respective schools here. Seeing as I;m going to an Asian school. I'll start promoting it as an 'Exchange' Option

So why exchange to HKUST?

For those interested in Global Management, its focus in a booming region is a major plus and the case studies they are used are focused towards regional issues. Must-have knowledge if you wanto be able to make a global impact.
For those who are interested in Finance... It's a powerhouse in the asia region with visting professors such as http://www.lhabitant.net/

The faculty for their EMBA (joint with kellogg) also particpate in the MBA and everyone is highly qualified.
Ross Student - "Academics are excellent, with almost all professors with PHDs from worlds top academic institutions, mostly US (Berkeley, Chicago, Stanford, etc)" (http://mba.ust.hk/ftmba/prog/popup_teac ... culty.html)

Some snippets from vault.com :-
"There were about 20 students from different schools in the US exchanging at the same time as myself, at least 15 of them came from Columbia, NYU, Kellogg and Chicago GSB. I definitely do not regret losing a semester at Columbia to go to HK UST, something I was not sure of before taking that decision."

"I did not feel that there was a difference in quality between Kellogg and Hong Kong UST, and generally classes at HK UST were more quantitatively oriented."

"First of all, I believe that Chicago GSB is the top Finance school in the world, and after spending a semester at Hong Kong UST, I must say they are not far behind."

Plus it might be a good opportunity to meet up woth fellow GMAT Clubbers

toga,
again great info on HKUST. Your info is definitely making me have a soft corner for HKUST. It looks like HKUST is only good for Finance. My first love however is strateic managemet and then Finance. Have you done a little research on the Strategy offering at HKUST
