It seems that Citibank and others ceased their student loan for internationals without a co-signer.

Have you guys heard anything about it?

What the loan environment is like now is total different than it will look like next year. Sorry to say but I think loans are going to be much harder going forward given the current credit situation. Some schools offer their own loan programs for international students and it would make sense to look at those. I think most of my friends who are internationals use Northwesterns loan program...I would bet at schools with similar loan programs for internationals it would be the same way.

I have heard of people's loans not going through this year...international and US based. They had to find new lenders.
