Do subjunctive mood sentences modify the auxiliary verb?

The judge required that Danny be removed from the courtroom.

In the subjunctive, actually, we are dealing with orders/commands/requirements, so it's in actuality the imperative mood. In the imperative mood, we use the infinitive minus the 'to'.

ie.

The Fuhrer demanded that he be sent to the front line.

Subjunctive would be:

If the Furher were to demand his services, he would be sent to the front line.

Anytime you see 'were' and something that isn't true in the first part, would is always used in the untrue part of the sentence.
