Submitting non-degree Courses with a Grade of "B" to Harvard [#permalink] New post 12 Sep 2013, 09:41
I have one question regarding my Harvard application, which I am planning to submit before the deadline this coming Monday, and would appreciate even a brief reply with your thoughts.

I have quite a strong overall profile,(GMAT 750, great work exp and extracurriculars) with the exception of my undergraduate GPA (3.0). As a young man I had a strong case of ADD, but due to my relative intelligence I was able to disguise my issues until my freshman year of college, when it took a severe toll on my academics. During college summers I took several classes at my local college to prove to myself that I was capable of the work and to receive college credit. I have already spoken to Harvard about including coursework from my community college but was wondering if I should include those in which I did not get an 'A' . Here is the group of classes I am considering sending:

Harvard Extension School(2013):

Statistics: A

Community College (2006-07):

Calculus: A
Financial Accounting II : B
Managerial Accounting : B
American Politics: A

Should I send these Accounting courses even though I received a B? I am worried that since they are from a community college and not an 'A', it might reflect poorly on my ability to handle the coursework at HBS, or at least negate the positive effect of taking the courses in the first place. I would greatly appreciate your expert opinion. Thank you in advance!
