I really messed up with IR and Writing. IR is 3 and writing is 4 . Do you have any idea that should I retake GMAT? My score is V40 and Q47. Overall 700. Thanks and Best Regards

That is unfortunate. Did you not study for either IR or AWA? Business schools will probably not put too much weight on IR, but a 3 in IR and a 4 in AWA may raise some flags. I would suggest retaking it, but I would ask one of the admissions consultants here.

If you do decide to retake the GMAT, have a look at this thread for IR. For AWA, have a look at Chineseburned's AWA guide. I only spent a few minutes studying GMATPrep IR and Chineseburned's guide and got a 7 on IR and a 5.5 on AWA.

I hope that helps :)

Hi, If you have the time do retake , but don't fret over the IR (adcoms don't care about it YET)
http://www.manhattangmat.com/forums/sta ... 16359.html

AWA 4/6 is just in the acceptable limits. If your deadline is approaching do NOT retake, write gr8 essays and get ur recos in place.

if you have a more than a month ie 6 weeks or so then go for the retake
