Summer salary survey for GMATclub [#permalink]
12 Mar 2008, 22:49
Some of you found that salary is not most important for this internship and you want to earn experience. Still, I create this thread to see how job market pay GMATclub this year. Total salary = salary pay for a year + bonus for a year.

Just so you know this isn't a great gauge of anything. Intern salaries in consulting can easily hit $130K when annualized, but they won't be that high (at least not in base) when you go FT. Other industries pay very little internship wise but then pay far far more later.

L. If you try for a start-up company, my school sponsors $5,000 and you earn around $10,000 more.

I have no idea what the bonus will be - I guess I should come back in August / September.

The question, however, is that if you spend such money capitalizing the company, do you count that as 0, 5k-10k or what you expect the company to be valued based on your future estimation of its future cash flows or sell value? Anyway, the argument is probably not relevant to the spirit of the original question. L.
