Switching consulting focuses [#permalink]

I have a chance to take a good job with a Healthcare IT consulting firm. Healthcare IT focus is not ideal, but the job is good. Would an MBA a few years down the line allow me to switch to a different consulting focus (Management, for example)? Would it only be possible with a top MBA (I'm planning on one obviously, but who knows)?
