Take a look at the attached word file which has a screen shot of the problem. I am just not able to see through this one.

Also would like to know has anyone come across problems like this?

Thanks

start from x+4 = 1 and work from there:

x=-3

x+f = 2

-3+f = 2

f = 5

f+z = 5

5+z = 5

z = 0

and so on...

m=4 n=1 so 1+4=5

Thanks KS.

I had not seen a question like this so far and add to that the pressure of going thru 1st prep test. I was like WTF is this...just guessed and moved on.

Thanks a lot again, I can now sleep w/o thinking abt this problem
