Seriously guys, don't do, esp not at xmas. If you insist on doing CFA while doing the MBA, just do it in the summer as most schools finish early enough for you to just cram for a week after Bschool exams to nail it, and then you don't have to miss out on the b-school academics and (more importantly) social

Yes you can do that, CFA is about finance + good English reading skills + quantitative... Hence you can try that out.

CFA level 1 is basically your first term core finance class..so totally manageable

I plan to start reading CFA from now bit by bit.
B-School's term should start around August, so 8th, 9th, 10,th, 11th I have to cover both CFA and MBA classes.
I'm curious whether this is a normal practice for MBA students?
Or do they normally wait for June 2012 when they've already passed their first year.

Thanks.

I've never met a CFA candidate that was actually in the industry (at least front office). I think that says something.
