I was thinking about this as well for the longest time. I think I bombed the AWA purposefully (unconscious is powerful) so I have an excuse to take test twice. But when I got a decent 5.0 I really ran out of excuses.

As of late, I've come to grips with the fact that a difference of 20-30 points is not that big a deal. At the highest end of the spectrum, a difference of 40-50 points is no big deal. Of course, not everyone thinks so.

Just remember, the GMAT does not define you.

we must remember that Gmat is a score to get into the school. don't make the Gmat itself a goal if it can already carry you to the destination. :-D

i think all of us have the thinking that we must score higher, or should have scored higher after 3 or 4 months of studying, but step on your brakes, you have already arrived.
