Test 3 & 4 GMAT Prep?

Test 3 & 4 GMAT Prep? [#permalink] New post   18 Mar 2015, 22:50
I just bought GMAT Test prep 3 &4. I intend to do them in next month. However, i want to know whether Test 3, 4 have the same question pool with test 1,2 ( i reseted , reinstalled test 1,2 a lot of times).
And do the GMAT prep collections in this forum include Test 3,4 Pack?

Exam Pack 1 from GMAC has different questions from the basic GMATPrep (free) version. I found Exams 3 and 4 to be very helpful when studying and would highly recommend taking them as the last exams leading up to your official GMAT. Beware that some questions may repeat in Exams 3 and 4 (I ran into that issue with higher difficulty verbal questions).

I would also highly recommend Question Pack 1 from GMAC. It has about 400 official questions that you can sort based on difficulty.

The GMAC resources are definitely worth the investment. In my opinion, the official resources from GMAC are by far the best material to use when studying. If you can master and truly understand these questions, you will be ready for the actual exam.

But how about Gmat prep question collections in this forums. Do they include Exam Pack 1? I really want to practice them but i'm afraid that it will make me waste Exam Pack 1.

Not 100% sure what the GMATPrep collections on GMAT Club are. I would imagine that they would include the questions from exam pack 1 but I do not know who made these collections or what questions they actually contain.

I went through the GMATPrep stuff (especially question pack 1) multiple times. I didn't retake any of the exams but I made sure to nail down every hard GMATPrep practice question and understand why it was correct.

Maybe after taking the exams you can use these question collections, but the last thing you want to do is overlap and ruin the accuracy of the GMATPrep exams.

I agree with alexau. No one should mess with questions from GMATPrep until they have exhausted GMATPrep as an exam source. There are plenty of practice questions out there, but not very many quality practice exams.

GMAC mention that test 1& 2 may repeat some questions from OG. So I think, it might also be case for test 3 & 4. I would recommend you to write a mail to GMAC, regarding this query.

Test 3 and 4 take questions from a different question pool. I think the questions from test 3 and 4 and flagged "GMATPrep EP 1" on gmatclub, but I'd still avoid doing GMATPrep questions from here until you've done the test.

I dont like the way this gmat prep 3 and 4 does, i just bought it and i wanted to do the verbal first , after selecting the verbal option first , i started the exam only to see quant , what should i do and i can only reset once,

I guess you can contact the famous amazing mba.com support and perhaps your great grand children will be able to see it’s changed. I think that’s your only option....
