I have been working on the GMAT for a few months.

My prep tells me that I am somewhere between 570-610, but I my test taking skills aren't the greatest. I've got the fundamentals for what the range I need, but the execution, I am afraid isn't there.

I spent the first 2 months getting ready. I am taking the test Aug 25th, and would appreciate any advice from the gurus out there.

THX,

wiseguy

P.S. I'm only taking Kaplan tests, specifically from the website.

Have you tried any PowerPrep tests or tests produced by other companies?

I just took my first practice test from Kaplans website. I got a 540 ( Q40, V24), but I think they graded me pretty harshly on the verbal.

Anyway to answer your question, I did the PP a long time ago, the only thing is the questions are directly from the OG and I feel they are not a good representation, since the unknown has been factored out.

But do you think, the PP tests are still a worth trying, even after I've done the OG.
