I had all my application sent in on time and my last recommender went on vacation and couldn't sent the letter on time. I hope this doesn't take me back to the next round...

I believe for Mays Business School, round 3 should be good chance. As there are four rounds in Mays unlike most other schools, I think Round 3 in Mays will not be as competitive as Round 3 in other schools where it is the final round for international applicants.

Sigh. The MBA Application essays. Who thought it was a good idea to ask people to write 2000 words before they even get INTO school? Turns out, it doesn’t matter, because someone did… and now you have to come up with the most compelling and memorable essays about leadership that you can. And then do it again for every school you apply to.
It’s not easy, but this upcoming event should help. Submit your MBA Application essay to have an opportunity to have it reviewed for free by the team at Admissionado. Three essays will be selected, and if you are one of the lucky ones, you will have the opportunity to go through your essay with Phillip Herring (admissions expert and CBS MBA) in a live session. You will need to be OK with sharing your essay with attendees (don’t worry – we’ll keep your name/private info out of it), and available and online at the time of the event to chat it up with Phillip. Did anyone from Mays give y'all a call after the admission email? I think its kind of weird they accepted me and haven't heard anything from them since.

Seems that you have a very good profile
Did you receive any interview invite from Mays? I did not hear anything from them, when is their decision mailing date?
Not sure about the status of my app yet...kind of tensed

I have not received any interview invite as of now. Mays is always very selective of sending invites. Most probably we will get to know by 1st of March.

McCombs is a great college. Congrats. Why are you worrying about Mays then? Anyhow I do not think they have sent an invite to an Indian applicant yet..!!

If y'all are awaiting your decision in a hurry because of another admit you can ask them to expedite it, they did it for me. I was an early round tho, so it might be different now. Good luck guys!
P.S. This thread is very quiet this year compared to last years.

Hi fv113, I am in same boat as u were. When u asked for an expedited decision, did u mention the name of other school as well
