Which of the two is more rigorous in accepting applicants?
Texas Mccombs
Notre Dame
On what basis have you made your decision, I mean GPA, or Gmat or Educational Background, Work experience ...
Any suggestions would be welcome.

Regards I would say McCombs. McCombs is well known nationally as is a prominent place for recruitment in SouthWest. Notre Dame has a strong finance program but relies heavily on its under graduate reputation. Also the location is some what of a drag. Small class size makes it less desirable for recruitment.

I'm applying to both and I get the feeling that Texas is significantly more competitive. Notre Dame is spending a lot of time and fellowship money trying to step into the role of an elite university, while Texas is already there. That said, they're both good schools with strong alumni bases. This is particularly true of the smaller Notre Dame alumni base. They're proud and very active helping their people.
