Hello,
I would like to thank all of the contributors to this forum for the excellent advice and information about the GMAT. This forum has been a very helpful asset to my preparation and recent success.
I had intended to take the GMAT and apply to a part-time MBA program next year, but I changed my mind in the beginning of June due to circumstances in my current position. It would be advantageous for me to enroll in a program to start this fall, rather than wait a year.
Because my plans changed late and I was already close to the application deadline for admission to the fall semester, I had to schedule my GMAT exam for June 30. That left me with about three weeks to prepare, and I was traveling for work during one of those weeks.
I found gmatclub and this forum early, as I was trying to figure out how I could prepare for the GMAT in that little time while working a full-time schedule. The amount of knowledge and expertise on this forum is amazing! I was able to quickly understand what the GMAT was all about and customize my preparation to maximize the benefit in those few, short weeks.
While I am still waiting for my official score, my unofficial results were a 710 overall with a 48 in quant and 40 in verbal! It makes me wonder what I might have been able to do with a proper preparation plan, rather than the condensed one I had to follow. I don't think I could have achieved the score that I did without the information on this forum.
Once again, thank you to all of the contributors. Keep up the great work, and hopefully I will soon join you in the ranks of students pursuing an MBA!
