Dear All,

Let me first introduce myself. My name is Usman and I'm from Pakistan. I did my computer science in 2004 and now after 2 years of experience plan to do my mba in 2007.

I gave gmat this may and scored 550:( (Q:40-66%,V:25-45%, AWA:4.5). Althought ive been among the top 5 students all my academic career...but gmat just threw me off. I was quite down for like 10-15 days, then fortuantely came across this website and I sincerely believe...that you guys are the major reason that I'm going to try it again. so here I am to thank u guys for all the motivation . I really thank God for bringing this club to my knowledge.

Let me tell you that I got 550 with two weeks of prep from princeton and OG 10. I only did the math questions completely from OG 10. didnt have time to complete all the verbal questions.

Now ive bought Manhatton SC guide, Manhattan CR& Reading Comprehenssion, OG 11 and Kaplan 800. Once the verbal part is over, ill start with math. I plan to study 1.5 -2 hrs on week days and 4-5 hrs on week ends and will be keeping an error log. I want to score 650+.

Please do shoot any suggestions that you may have. I have to start my applications this december so hope to give the gmat by november. Once again thumbs up for all the gmat members.

Usman

study your mistake! good luck!

btw, why do so many posters say i "gave" GMAT? is it an Old English thing? I thought the correct way of saying this is I "took" GMAT.
