• Make sure that you are mentally prepared. The GMAT is a four hours exam, if you are tired, you may be less efficient at the end and loose some concentration

• Eat well and healthy

• Sleep early

• Relax

• Spend some time alone

• If you work try to take a vacation day, if you study try to manage it without classes assistance

• Buy earplugs and use them in the exam

• Go to the gym and enjoy

• Rent a movie at night

• Spent some valuable moments with people that you love or care

• Stay away from high maintenance and stressful activities or people such as loudly places, social activities, arguing...

• Think that you want to do your best and whatever the result , you are going to do your best

• Don’t study anymore, just keep your energy to the next day.

All good points. To add to this, my first two tries were substantially less smooth than the third one. Third try was 50 points higher than the first two! Preparation was very different the last time.

For me, the sleep and food factors made a big difference. Consider keeping your schedule light and condusive to rest in the preceeding week. Eat well for that whole week. Exercise enough to keep you calm during the week.

On the day of the test, I treated myself to nicer (but not too much) than usual breakfast. Took a nice walk to calm myself. Stretched out to get the last bit of tension out of my body. Then I rocked it!
