Hello from the GMAT Club VerbalBot!

Thanks to another GMAT Club member, I have just discovered this valuable topic, yet it had no discussion for over a year. I am now bumping it up - doing my job. I think you may find it valuable (esp those replies with Kudos).

I suggest that those interested visit the following two sites to know more about the use of ‘which’ and ‘whose’.

http://www.thefreedictionary.com/whose
http://www.thefreedictionary.com/where
The above two articles will explode the myths that
1. A comma is required before ‘where’. Therefore, A is a better choice
2. ‘Whose’ also requires a comma before it, or else, the sentence will turn a run-on.
3. A run-on has been created due to the lack of comma before the possessive relative pronoun ‘whose’
4. The word ‘whose’ is misused to modify a city.
5. Whose can stand only for human being and not for inanimate bodies.
The OE is misleading.
