Agree with D,
Explanation , Please let me know your comments.
A) is wrong because of the "Which" refers to 50 years where as it suppose to do the one of the trends.
B)wordy and awkward
C) Tense problem , unnecessary "has been experiencing "
E)Again modifier problem, The phrase should Auto industry on last 50 years
