The average normal infant born in the United States weighs [#permalink]

Question Stats:

0% (00:00) wrong based on 0 sessions
The average normal infant born in the United States weighs between
twelve and fourteen pounds at the age of three months. Therefore, if
a three-month-old child weighs only ten pounds, its weight gain has
been below the United States average.
Which of the following indicates a flaw in the reasoning above?
(A) Weight is only one measure of normal infant development.
(B) Some three-month-old children weigh as much as seventeen pounds.
(C) It is possible for a normal child to weigh ten pounds at birth.
(D) The phrase " below average" does not necessarily mean
insufficient.
(E) Average weight gain is not the same as average weight.

hey Paul, I am not aiming for that post as I don't deserve it. I was just following up on Praet's request to post official answers for all the CR's. Unfortunately, after posting official answers the thread seemed to be never updated. I am not sure what was going on? Looks fishy as some of my posts for Official answers are not updated with the threads. Were you guys deleting my posts????? as the counts on my no. of posts were going haywire from 176 posts to 154 posts within a matter of minutes. Well that's the only explanation I can imagine for now. I got confused and stopped posting at that moment.
rgds,
batli

rgds, batli
Hi Batli
Its wierd, i dont think anyone deleted your posts. I normally delete double posts...which happen if one clicks the submit tab more than once.
Even the guy who we banned still has the post on the forum.
I am sure it is a temporary problem. I could see that you posted the answers twice for some posts, but i knew there might be a reason for that.
anyways, sorry about the problem. Please continue posting.
regards
praetorian
