The Breton Symphony Orchestra board of directors and the musicians’ union are currently in contract negotiations. The musicians’ union is considering proposing a new contract that would demand the following: a 10% increase in musician salaries, the creation of a new financial bonus system for musicians who have been with the orchestra for at least six years, and a limit on the number of rehearsals per week.
The answer to which of the following questions is LEAST important in helping the union to determine whether the board will be inclined to accept the new contract proposal?

A) Does the orchestra have the means to pay for a 10% increase in musician salaries?

B) Are there comparable musicians not currently with the orchestra who would be willing to work under a less favorable contract?

C) What percentage of the orchestra’s revenue is generated from ticket sales?

D) What is the average duration of employment for Breton Symphony Orchestra musicians?

E) Is the proposed limit on the number of rehearsals per week reasonable when compared with industry standards?

So you have a "work conflict" and need to find out the question that lists the least important info to know.

A. is important, because if the orchestra can't afford (objectively) to pay the increase, then there's nothing anyone can do

B. is also important, since if there are other musicians who are willing to work with fewer demands, then the directors might say "Let's just drop the old acts and get the others instead!".

C. is not relevant to the question here. The musicians and the directors are not interested in the revenue structure of the organization, they're interested in the reasonableness of their demands

D. this is also important. If you have say 80% of musicians that have been with the orchestra for more than 6 years, then instituting a 20% bonus (for instance) would mean a significant increase in costs. If on the other hand you only have 10% who have been there for 6 years or more, then the same bonus won't have that much of an impact.

E. this also counts, since while you don't want to overwork the fellows, they shouldn't be allowed to slack off. The industry standards are pretty reasonable standards to go by...
